Work With Me

Step 1: Understand Immune Therapy

Immune therapy is the primary treatment I use in my practice. Whether you are suffering from auto-immunity, allergic response, inflammatory response, or a list of chronic symptoms no one can give you an answer to, what I find to be the root cause of all of these things are reactivated chronic infections.

I use small doses of the actual pathogen that is causing your symptoms in small doses over a 9 – 12 month period. This is taken orally and it helps to train the immune system to build tolerance to these internal pathogens. This is very similar to allergy shots where you are given small doses of the external allergen to rebuild your tolerance.

Immune therapy makes the pathogen go dormant and brings an overall balance to the immune system by addressing the root cause of your symptoms.

Step 2: Watch Videos

Step 3: Read the F.A.Q.

Functional Medicine asks how and why illness occurs and addresses the root cause of disease in order to restore function and promote optimal wellness.

I rely on a detailed understanding of each patient’s health history, symptoms, targeted test results, lifestyle factors, and leverage that data to direct personalized treatment plans.

I am a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) specializing in Functional Medicine. I received my doctorate from Parker University. My post doctorate education is through the Institute of Functional Medicine. I have received complete training in the biological sciences such as anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, histology, blood chemistry, neurology and pharmacology. As well as extensive training in the areas of clinical nutrition, homeopathic and botanical medicine.  I am currently a trusted educator for a top homeopathic company  and frequently help to educate practitioners all over the country on their complex patient cases. Recently, I partnered with a naturopathic university to create a Lyme certification course training practitioners on this ever increasing issue related to chronic illness.

No, I am a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) specializing in Functional Medicine. Therefore, I do not practice medicine and do not diagnose or treat diseases or medical conditions. I focus my practice on promoting health and optimal function. My services are not meant to substitute or replace those of a medical doctor but my programs are meant to work in conjunction with them.

No. I do not prescribe or make recommendations about prescription medications or controlled substances. Your prescribing medical doctor will manage all medications. I use natural, noninvasive methods to include immune therapy, homeopathy, herbs, supplements, and lifestyle changes to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal function and health.

The best way to see if functional medicine is right for you is to explore the website, check out the “Work With Me” page, read through our google reviews, and testimonials, and listen to the podcast. I created the podcast specifically to give you as much information as possible about my journey into functional medicine, my approach, and the results that I typically see with patient cases.  I also have a robust library of video resource reels on my Instagram and Facebook profiles that would help you determine if functional medicine and my unique approach is for you.

Yes, of course!  We often work with patients virtually. Check out our “Work With Me” page for more information on how to schedule your appointment.

I work with a wide variety of health issues.  Autoimmune conditions, allergic response, inflammatory conditions, MCAS, POTS, Lyme, PANDAS/PANS, Mold toxicity, Epstein Barr Virus, Long Haul Covid, Metabolic issues, digestive, mood and energy issues all walk through our practices door regularly.  Bottom line- everything has a root cause and regardless of the symptoms or current diagnosis you’ve been given- the vast majority of conditions are linked to a dysregulated immune response and chronic infections.

The bottom line is that everything has a root cause. Regardless of the symptoms or current diagnosis you’ve been given the vast majority of conditions are linked to a dysregulated immune response and chronic infections.

I successfully work with mold patients, however I view mold as a triggering event versus a root cause. My approach will be to treat what is actually causing the symptoms that the mold exposure triggered. This will entail healing the immune response and treating infections that likely reactivated because of the mold exposure.  For more information on this subject please listen to episode 6 of my podcast.

I am always happy to look at any recent lab result that you feel might be relevant to your patient case however, please note that most results patients bring in aren’t specific enough or relevant to the actual root cause of their symptoms/conditions.

Yes, I do. Based on my approach and the specific therapy that I use, 4 to 5 years of age is the minimum age that I work with.

There aren’t side effects, rather intended effects.  It is expected during the process symptoms can become exacerbated.  This is actually a good sign that the immune system is responding to the therapy.  The process can seem like a roller coaster ride with good days and bad days along the way.  This is why I hold your hand through the process to ensure your journey goes as smoothly as possible. For more information, please listen to my podcast where I interview several patients to help you better understand what to expect!

Both Mark and doctor Stanga are good and honest professionals. I’ve been to numerous other doctors and one specialist. They all failed me and put minimal effort into resolving my health issues. After describing my symptoms on the first visit to doctor Stanga, she suspected what was wrong. She ordered numerous specific tests that confirmed her suspicions. I’m now undergoing therapy to resolve the problem….one visit is all it took.

Excellence from start to finish! From the prompt call backs, the details given by Mark, and the patience and time he takes to explain each process, the compassion he shows for your health, to the time Dr. Stanga spends with you, listening intently and then mapping out a health plan after examining your test results, I am thoroughly satisfied. But what's more is that FINALLY I'm on the road to recovery. Finally I have peace of mind feeling my physical and mental health starting to improve. I have nothing but the utmost praise and thanks for Mr. Mark and Dr.Stanga, and such relief that the weight of ill health is dissapating along with the fear that I was never going to feel well again. Thank you so much!!!Jeffrey D.S.

Can't speak highly enough of Dr. Stanga. It sounds cheesy to say, but she changed my life. I went to see her for reoccurring sinus infections coupled with sinus headaches and was treated for that, along with a half other dozen symptoms that I didn't even realize were related. She is incredibly thorough and does her due diligence in order to get to the root cause of your health issues. 8 months later, I feel better than ever, no longer suffer from ANY of the symptoms that I had just assumed would be part of the rest of my life. If you are having trouble other doctors listening to you and want someone who will listen and take your concerns seriously... RUN don't walk to see Dr. Stanga. She's the best!

I’m officially done with my treatment protocol, and though it sounds silly the feeling is bittersweet. Dr. Stanga truly gave me hope! The first time I sat down in her office I knew it was exactly were I needed to be. I knew I wasn’t “young and healthy and perfectly fine” like I had been told so many times. It was refreshing to have a doctor sit and listen, like really listen to what I was saying. The past eight months have not been easy, but man was it worth it. If you are struggling and not getting answers please don’t lose hope. There are other routes to healing! Invest in your health and a doctor who truly wants the best for you.Thank you Dr. Stanga ❤️

I found Dr. Stanga in the spring of 2021. From the very first phone call with Mark I felt more informed than I ever had in a medical setting. After the initial consult with Dr. Stanga I was confident that she could help. When my test results came back I was presented with a clear diagnosis and a plan of action. She took the time to explain (and re-explain) and answer any questions I had to ensure my peace of mind. I did two separate treatments with her and throughout both I was able to call or email if I had any urgent questions or concerns. It was a long process, and she went out of her way to make sure I felt knowledgeable, comfortable, & cared for. I went to Dr. Stanga to find answers but left with healing and a balance in my life that I have never known before. My experience with Dr. Stanga was life changing, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her practice.
